INVITATIONAL PRELIMINARY COMPETITION
1st place in class = Finals Placement
Class Caption Award = 2 points if NOT admitted to finals

INVITATIONAL FINALS/STRAIGHT COMPETITION
Best Overall Music = 2.5 points to any ONE music caption*
Best Overall Visual = 2.5 points to any ONE visual caption**
Best Overall Auxiliary = 2.5 points to Color Guard Caption
Best Overall Percussion = 2.5 points to Percussion Caption
Best Overall General Effect = 2.5 points to any ONE caption
3rd Place Overall = 5 points
2nd Place Overall = 7.5 points
Grand Champion = 10 points
Finals Placement = 2 points if NO finals awards received
REGIONAL PRELIMINARY COMPETITION
